Standard competence
To respond the meaning of monologue in the of narrative text in the daily life context.
Basic competence
To respond the meaning of simple of monologue using oral language accurately, fluency, and acceptably in daily life context in the form of narrative text
Indicators
- Identify the settings of the tell short story that they have read
- Identify the main characters of the tell short story
- Identify the plot of the tell short story
- Identify the problem arises followed by other problems of the tell short story
- Identify the solution to the problem of the tell short story


The goals of study
-          At the end of this learning activity; the students are able to:

Step in learning
a. Pre Activity
- Greeting
- Check Present list
- Teacher tell about the indicators that will be reacheed.

b. Main Activity
- Teacher ask the students to listen to the tell short story
- Teacher ask the students to identify the settings of the tell short story
- Teacher ask the students to identify the main characters of the tell short story
- Teacher ask the students to identify the plot of the tell short story
- Teacher ask the students to identify the problem arises followed by other problems of the tell short story
- Teacher ask the students to identify the solution to the problem of the tell short story

c. Post Activiy
- Teacher ask the students to discuss making up a difference about climax and ending.

CINDERELLA

Once upon a time there was a girl named Cinderella. She lived with her step mother and two step sisters. They were very bossy. They made Cinderella do all the housework.

One day an invitation to the ball came to the family. Her stepsisters would not let her go. They made her busy all day long. Cinderella was sad because she wanted to go to the ball. They went to the ball without her.

Fortunately, a fairy godmother came and helped her to get to the ball. At the ball, Cinderella danced with the prince. She was very happy at the ball.

Narrative



NARRATIVE TEXT BAHASA INGGRIS | ARTI NARRATIVE TEXT STORY



Narrative text is a text which contains about story (fiction/non fiction/tales/folktales/fables/myths/epic) and its plot consists of climax of the story (complication) then followed by the resolution.
A narrative text is a text amuse, entertain and deal with actual or vicarious experience in different ways. Narrative deal with problematic events which lead to a crisis or turning point of some kind, which in turn finds a resolution.

The narrative text short story is telling of a story or an account of a sequence of events. One of the four traditional forms of composition (along with description, exposition, and persuasion). Narration differs from exposition, which can also relate a sequence of events, in that narration need not be factual and may be written from the perspective of a character in the text.

The generic sctucture of a narrative text:
1. Orientation: Sets the scene and introduces the participants.
2. Complication: A crisis arises
3. Resolution: The crisis is resolved, for the better or for worse.
4. Re-orientation: Optinal
5. Evaluation: A stepping back to evaluate the plight
